Majda Černič Istenič, recipient of the Excellence in Science Award 2025

Majda Černič Istenič, a colleague at the Socomedical Institute, is among this year's recipients of the ARIS Odlični v znanosti (Award for Excellence in Science). She received the award for her contribution Work-Life Balance on Farms with Small Children in Slovenia, which addresses the challenges and peculiarities of family life on Slovenian farms.

The contribution was based on research entitled Response of farming families to the consequences of occupational accidents and diseases and was published in a scientific article entitled Work-life balance on a farm with young children in Slovenia in the journal Agriculture and Human Values.
