Description

The established Schengen regime at the Slovenian-Croatian border area raised questions related to the border area population. In order to provide a comprehensive explanation of an on-going process of depopulation of border location a research team examined closely the phenomena of natural movement of population, migration, marriages and social boundaries and differentiations of the locals in a wider socio-historical context.
